The Law Of The Farm

The law of the farm is to close the gate first so the animals don't get out or leave. This means during your consultation, assessment, report of findings, and orientation you must get clear just what you are trying to accomplish and what the rules are before beginning care. For example, your objective might be to get a straight line on a scan and balance someones legs. If someone comes in to get checked for subluxation and they have a straight line, balanced legs, but also have symptoms, they will know that they don't need to get adjusted that day and this is great, as long as you closed the gate first and explained the rules and get an agreement about it. If you do this, it will make locating and correcting subluxations much easier in your office.

Spotlight: Rosen Coaching

Rosen Coaching at http://www.rosencoaching.com/ has tons of free information to help you be a better Chiropractor, check out the website today. Dr. Angie Meyer was our last interview of The Last Chiropractor interview on blogtalkradio.com, one of the coaches at Rosen Coaching. Below is information from their website on the benefits of a coach.

Benefits Of Working With A Coach

What is needed?
Coaching is proven to work when two factors are present:
The client is willing to learn, grow and take action
There is a gap between where he/she is now and where he/she wants to be
That's all that is necessary for a successful coaching relationship where you can develop the right strategy, implement a plan of action, and achieve your goals. Anything is possible within our coaching relationship. With a coach you can:
Take More, Better, and Smarter Actions
Our first task together is to find out exactly what you really want for yourself. Once you create objectives that are clearly in line with your professional vision, you are much more likely to naturally and consistently take actions to reach them.
Have A Balanced Life, Which Works Well
Professional success is maximized when you enjoy a sense of personal fulfillment and life balance. We will discuss how to be selfish yet responsible, and how to carve out enough time so your life outside of work is exactly the way you want it to be.
Make Better Decisions
We will help you become focused as you share ideas with us. We will understand you and be subjective enough to want a lot for you, yet objective enough not to be biased or self-serving. You'll also find that just talking about your options with someone who really listens is often enough to clarify things.
Reach For More-Much More
When you have a partner you trust, you will reach for much more because you can afford to. Are you ready to think big and really live your life fully? I am a partner who will enable you to take your life wherever you want it to go.
Make and Keep More Money
Most people are worth a lot more than they are making. Are you happy with your financial situation? If not, we can look at your beliefs about money and address whatever is keeping you from experiencing financial abundance.
Have More Sustainable Energy
Together we'll identify the things that drain your energy, and create a long-term strategy to eliminate them. In addition, we'll focus on the things that give you energy, and explore how to maximize their impact. When you're happy, productive, and free from tolerations and problems, life is a lot more fun!

Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a great time to reflect on all of the things in our lives that we are thankful for, to spend time with friends and family, recharge our batteries and get ready to end the year on a strong note.

As a Chiropractor I am thankful to be able to practice Chiropractic as it was designed to be practiced. To locate and correct a subluxation in anyone that presents to me whether they are old or young, have symptoms or not, whether they have insurance or not.

Chiropractic is so simple and pure in it's philosophy, science, and art. It is refreshing to think that when someone presents to you that is subluxated, and you remove the nerve interference, just how much that you can benefit that person and all of the people in their life.

Remember to give thanks for all of the Chiropractors that paved the way for us to practice today. I am thankful for all of the people that give great testimonials towards Chiropractic and Chiropractors. I will do my best to leave the state of Chiropractic in a better state than when I first became a DC on August 7, 1993. - MWH

What Is The Most Important Part Of The Patient Visit?

I feel like a mosquito in a nudist colony, there is so much to cover, I don't know where to start.

Question: What is the most important part of the patient visit?

Answer: The post check or post analysis. It is as simple as that.

It doesn't matter what technique you are using, it matters what your pre and post analysis is to make sure that you removed any or all of the subluxations present on that particular visit. If you want to be 100% congruent and of the highest integrity you must be willing to do post checks after your adjustments or else you can't honestly say that you did your best at removing subluxation on that visit.
Some chiropractors think the most important thing on each visit is patient education/communication. I agree that patient education/communication is very important, however, if you do a great consult, exam, report of findings, and orientation, the patient will be on the right track with chiropractic and you can continue to do thirty second tips of the day and questions to further their chiropractic understanding and education of chiropractic.
If you don't correct the interference between the brain and the body and can't back that up with post checks, then this will lead to uncertainty, contradiction, and doubt. I wouldn't want to go to a doctor that was uncertain, contradictory and full of doubt.

Chiropractic Defined by Reggie

The wonders of Chiropractic are so simple that they're almost not worth discussing. You could discuss the whole thing in one sentence. The correction of subluxation allows the body to work at full potential, in the same way that the subluxation, by its very presence, inhibits the function of the body. The big idea in Chiropractic is that if you have a subluxation you'd be better off without it. It is as simple as that.

Performance is always directed and controlled by body chemistry. If your chemistry is normal under the body's own innate control, then the functions of the body are as perfect as they are ever going to get. Body chemistry is controlled by the billions of cells that make the chemicals. The cells that make the chemicals are controlled by the nerve system and the nerves are protected by bone. A subluxation develops. That causes one of two problems humanity has. There are only two diseases: too much or too little. You either have too much of this chemical or too little of that one. If the chemicals are perfect and under the brain's control, then the body functions at its own maximum potential. Not necessarily perfection, but the best it's capable of doing.

Chiropractic's role should be to bring about the correction of subluxation. Actually, the chiropractor doesn't adjust but introduces a force intelligently contrived in the hope that the body will then be able to adapt that force into and adjustment. The body alone knows where the bone belongs.

Does The Adjustment Get Sick People Well?

NO

What do you do to get stronger? You lift weights. Try lifting weights for several hours, and then lift as much as you can. Does this make you lift more weight? Actually lifting weights breaks muscle down, it is the time between workouts that makes you stronger.

The body's healing ability and the adjustment holding time is what gets you well.

What is the job of the adjustment? To unlock the bone, so the body can make the adjustment.

It is as simple as that.

HE DID HIS BEST

When I am dead, if men can say,
I helped the world upon its way;
With all my faults of word and deed
Mankind did have some little need
For what I’ve done—then in my grave
No greater honor shall I crave.
If they can say—if they but can—
“He did his best, he played the man,
His ways were straight; his soul was clean;
His failings not unkind nor mean.
He loved his fellow man and tried
To help him”—I’ll be satisfied.
But when I’m gone, if only one
Will weep because my life is gone
And feel the world is somewhat bare
Because I am no longer there—
Call me a knave, my life misspent—
No matter. I shall be content.

Chunk-Down That Goal and Get Out of Overwhelm

Sometimes our biggest life goals seem so overwhelming.
We rarely see them as a series of small, achievable tasks, but in reality, breaking down a large goal into smaller tasks—and accomplishing them one at a time—is exactly how any big goal gets achieved.
After you have decided what you really want, with specific deadlines, the next step is to determine all of the individual action steps you will need to take to accomplish your goal.
How to Chunk It Down
There are several ways to figure out the action steps you will need to take to accomplish any goal. One is to consult with people who have already done what you want to do and ask what steps they took. From their experience, they can give you all of the necessary steps as well as advice on what pitfalls to avoid.
Another way is to purchase a book or manual that outlines the process.
Yet another way is to start from the end and look backward. You simply close your eyes and imagine that it is now the future and you have already achieved your goal. Then just look back and see what you had to do to get to where you now are. What was the last thing you did? And then the thing before that, and then the thing before that, until you arrive at the first action you had to start with.
Remember that it is okay not to know how to do something.
It’s okay to ask for guidance and advice from those who do know. Sometimes you can get it free, and sometimes you have to pay for it. Get used to asking, “Can you tell me how to go about...?” and “What would I have to do to...?” and “How did you...?”
Keep researching and asking until you can create a realistic action plan that will get you from where you are to where you want to go.
What will you need to do? How much money will you need to save or raise? What new skills will you need to learn? What resources will you need to mobilize? Who will you need to enroll in your vision? Who will you need to ask for assistance? What new disciplines or habits will you need to build into your life?
Another valuable technique for creating an action plan for your goals is called mind mapping.
How to Use Mind Mapping
Mind mapping is a simple but powerful process for creating a detailed to-do list for achieving your goal. It lets you determine what information you’ll need to gather, who you’ll need to talk to, what small steps you’ll need to take, how much money you’ll need to earn or raise, which deadlines you’ll need to meet, and so on—for each and every goal.
When I began creating my first educational audio program—a breakthrough goal that led to extraordinary gains for me and my business—I used mind mapping to help me “chunk down” that very large goal into all the individual tasks I would need to complete to produce a finished product.
To mind-map your own goals, follow these steps as illustrated in the example:
1.) Center circle: In the center circle, jot down the name of your stated goal—in this case, Create an Audio Educational Program.
2.) Outside circles: Next, divide the goal into the major categories of tasks you’ll need to accomplish to achieve the greater goal—in this case, Title, Studio, Topics, Audience, and so on.
3.) Spokes: Then, draw spokes radiating outward from each mini-circle and label each one (such as Write Copy, Color Picture for Back Cover, and Arrange Lunch.)
On a separate line connected to the minicircle, write every single step you’ll need to take. Break down each one of the more detailed task spokes with action items to help you create your master to-do list.
Next, Make a Daily To-Do List
Once you’ve completed a mind map for your goal, convert all of the to-do items into daily action items by listing each one on your daily to-do lists and committing to a completion date for each one. Then schedule them in the appropriate order into your calendar and do whatever it takes to stay on schedule.
Do First Things First
The goal is to stay on schedule and complete the most important item first. In his excellent book, Eat That Frog! 21 Great Ways to Stop Procrastinating and Get More Done in Less Time, Brian Tracy reveals not just how to conquer procrastination but also how to prioritize and complete all of your action items.
In his unique system, Brian advises goal-setters to identify the one to five things you must accomplish on any given day, and then pick the one you absolutely must do first. This becomes your biggest and ugliest frog.
He then suggests you accomplish that task first—in essence, eat that frog first—and, by so doing; make the rest of your day much, much easier. It’s a great strategy. But unfortunately, most of us leave the biggest and ugliest frog for last, hoping it will go away or somehow become easier. It never does. However, when you accomplish your toughest task early in the day, it sets the tone for the rest of your day.
By chunking down your goals, and then taking daily action on them, you create momentum and build your confidence, both of which move you farther and faster toward the achievement of your goals.
Now go take some action!

Chiropractic Is 114 Years Old

Chiropractic’s famous first adjustment is recognized each year
with an annual observance commemorating September 18th,
1895 as Chiropractic Founder’s Day.
On this day, 114 years ago, Dr. Daniel David Palmer administered the
first specific chiropractic adjustment on Harvey Lillard in
Davenport Iowa. Dr. D.D. Palmer delivered this historic first chiropractic
adjustment with the specific intent of realigning a malpositioned
vertebra on the patient, restoring its normal position, and Harvey
Lillard, who had lost most of his hearing 17 years earlier, noted
his hearing rapidly returned under Dr. Palmer’s care. From that point
D.D. Palmer shifted his clinical practice to his new methods of replacing
spinal bones that were out of position, and experienced positive
clinical results in patients with a wide variety of health concerns. His
practice grew and the profession of chiropractic was launched.

The theory and clinical basis of chiropractic was succinctly described as “Founded on Tone” in 1910 in a book authored by Dr. Palmer, and over subsequent years the science, art and philosophy of this unique and special approach to health care was further described and detailed. A landmark text published in 1927 by Dr. R.W. Stephenson outlined key aspects of the chiropractic approach to health and healing in a listing of 33 Principles.

Practice Uncommon Appreciation

A recent management study revealed that 46% of employees leaving a company do so because they feel unappreciated; 61% said their bosses don’t place much importance on them as people; and 88% said they don’t receive acknowledgement for the work they do.
Whether you are an entrepreneur, manager, teacher, parent, coach or simply a friend, if you want to be successful with other people, you must master the art of appreciation.
I’ve never known anyone to complain about receiving too much positive feedback. Have you? In fact, just the opposite is true.
Consider this: Every year, a management consulting firm conducts a survey with 200 companies on the subject on what motivates employees. When given a list of 10 possible things that would most motivate them, the employee always list appreciation as the number-one motivator.
Managers and supervisors ranked appreciation number eight. This is a major mismatch, as the chart below so clearly shows.
10 Ways to Really Motivate an Employee
Employees
Appreciation
Feeling “in” on things
Understanding attitude
Job security
Good wages
Interesting work
Promotional opportunities
Loyalty from management
Good working conditions
Tactful discipline
Supervisors
Good Wages
Job Security
Promotional Opportunities
Good working conditions
Interesting work
Loyalty from management
Tactful discipline
Appreciation
Understanding attitude
Feeling “in” on things
Notice that the top three motivators for employees don’t cost anything, just a few moments of time, respect and understanding.
Keeping Score
When I first learned about the power of appreciation, it made total sense to me. However, it was still something that I forgot to do. I hadn’t yet turned it into a habit.
A valuable technique that I employed to help me lock in this new habit was to carry a 3” x 5” card in my pocket all day, and every time I acknowledged and appreciated someone, I would place a check mark on the card. I would not allow myself to go to bed until I had appreciated 10 people. If it was late in the evening and I didn’t have 10 check marks, I would appreciate my wife and children, I would send an e-mails to several of my staff, or I would write a letter to my mother or stepfather.
I did whatever it took until it became an unconscious habit. I did this every single day for 6 months—until I no longer needed the card to remind me.
Appreciation as a Secret of Success
Another important reason for being in a state of appreciation as often as possible is that when you are in such a state, you are in one of the highest emotional states possible.
When you are in a state of appreciation and gratitude, you are in a state of abundance. You are appreciating what you do have instead of focusing on, and complaining about, what you don’t have. Your focus is on what you have received… and you always get more of what you focus on.
And because the law of attraction states that like attracts like, the more you are in a state of gratitude, the more you will attract, and even more to be grateful for. It becomes an upward-spiraling process of ever-increasing abundance that just keeps getting better and better.
Think about it. The more grateful people are for the gifts we give them, the more inclined we are to give them more gifts. Their gratitude and appreciation reinforces our giving. The same principle holds true on a universal and spiritual level as it does on an interpersonal level.
I challenge you to discover ways to immediately appreciate someone in your life, starting today!

Success and Failure and The Principle

If one accidentally uses a right principle, they will succeed.

If one purposely uses a right principle, they will succeed.

If one accidentally uses a Principle the wrong way, they will fail.

If one purposely uses a principle the wrong way, they will fail.

One may SUCCEED or FAIL accidentally.

One may succeed or fail purposely.

If one succeeds by accident, the chances of their succeeding again are against them, they do not know WHY they succeeded.

If they FAIL by accident, the chances are that they will continue to fail, they would not know why they failed.

If one succeeds on purpose, design, definite rules based on right principle, then one May duplicate that Success any given number of times.

We here waste no time trying to ape medical man's approach to make you think we are well equipped to fail to do the same thing they are doing.

LIFE, living, action, motion, function are Abstract, not Concrete. Mankind has sacrificed everything on the altar of the microscope and test tube, eliminating the study of the Source of the internal, exhaust less flow of the one and only abstract single flow from above-down, inside-out - internal TO external, never external TO internal.

The Art of Adjustment

August looks up; smiles as he realizes he finally reached his goal, being in perfect harmony with the rhythm of the universe. The musician and audience are vibrating to the rhythm of life. The adjustment is made….Perfection.

Your mind is in a place of total focus. You must allow the one being adjusted to get into a state of mind which readies their body to receive the universal force directed by your educated mind through your hands. An adjustment is not something you do to someone; rather an adjustment is something done together. One being adjusted must be ready to receive as you must be ready to give. You sense the harmonics, the vibration, the tone, the tension and balance of the one you are about to adjust and become one with it. You must bring the rhythm of your being into harmony with the rhythm of their being. You are no longer two, you are one.

The musician creates music the audience listens as together they dance to the rhythm of life. This is the only way you can reach perfection as you play life’s greatest instrument. Whether you realize it or not as a chiropractor you play beautiful music on the most complicated instrument in the universe.

Music is the harmonics that connects the universe and at this moment in time you are musician extraordinaire. By way of the adjustment you are connecting universal intelligence and force with innate intelligence and force. As you play music your audiences’ innate intelligence listens and integrates it making the perfect adjustment.

As you play this instrument you are reestablishing the connection between ones brain and all parts of the body. You are unleashing limitless potential by perfecting the expression of innate intelligence through innate matter as it is driven by unobstructed innate force. The end result is improved performance at every level of human function. You have positively stirred the expression of life allowing them to reach levels of performance they only dreamed of.

When you have reached this level of understanding of the adjustment you can start to begin to really understand the adjustment. This will be a lifelong pursuit.

In any event I just summed up the final scene of the movie August Rush without giving away too much of the plot. I have watched this movie probably 7 or 8 times now and will watch it many more times because I can see so many parallels with chiropractic philosophy and adjusting. This most recent viewing as I watched the movie it made me think of how as students you are learning the art of adjustment and how frustrating it can be at times. In order to make an adjustment all parties must be in harmony with one another. Sometimes it goes well and other times it is not quite what you would like. But being persistent and determined and arms with certainty you eventually begin to play your music with better tempo, tone and feeling. You are developing the art of adjusting.

I suggest you watch this film and think about this philosophy of life we call chiropractic. You will see parallels not to mention you will probably even enjoy the film. If when you watch this film and see the parallels to our philosophy it will pull at your heart strings and a tear may even form. If it doesn’t you better hit the green books, blue books, the 33 principles, Dr Koch’s new book and listen to Reggie Gold’s Philosophy series.

The Third Paradigm by Reginald R. Gold, D.C., Ph.C.

There are three possible paradigms of chiropractic thinking. Each chiropractor must choose one of these three to live by or else live in a fuzzy world of half truth, a world in which refusing to face facts not only results in an inability to talk about chiropractic with clarity, but also the inability to practice chiropractic with a clear purpose.

Paradigm #1 holds that chiropractic cures all disease. This paradigm is in line with the advertisement which B.J. Palmer and D.D. Palmer ran in the Davenport Times in 1902 which proclaimed, "You have no right to be sick when chiropractic cures all disease." Practitioners of this paradigm, though they are in truth few and far between would live by such slogans as, "The power that made the body heals the body." They neglect to mention, however, that while it is true that the only power that heals the body is the power which made it, sometimes even that power can't heal. Some people are beyond healing. The pretense that all sick people get well when properly adjusted merely holds us up to ridicule by intelligent people. Other similar slogans claim that "Chiropractic gets sick people well" without adding the necessary word, "sometimes" which would make it true. This latter slogan, incidentally, even if true, would offer chiropractic care to sick people only and deny it to those who are not yet sick by clinical or laboratory symptoms.
A second paradigm of chiropractic thinking and practice holds that only some sick people get better when their vertebral subluxations are corrected. Because of the nature of their disease, or the advanced stages of it, others require medical intervention or adjunctive therapy. This paradigm of treating some and referring others sounds logical and caring, and is most likely to earn us the respect of the community of health care providers. This paradigm represents the thinking of the vast majority of chiropractors. Though there is disagreement how patients should be treated, when to refer, and which treatments to administer in the chiropractic office, the second paradigm is heartily subscribed to by the two largest national organizations.
Since both organizations agree on this major issue, it makes one wonder why we have two separate major organizations. If they both agree to treat some diseases and refer others, what are they disagreeing about?
There is, of course, one slight problem that arises when deciding which patients and diseases to treat and which to refer: all treatment or referral decisions are dependent upon diagnosis. Diagnosis is the one great area of weakness in this practice paradigm. Diagnosis is, after all, the greatest challenge the area of greatest risk of mistakes being made. Yet chiropractors, who receive much less diagnostic training than MD's think they are competent to diagnose for purposes of referral. How is this possible when they:
* Denied by law the use of all diagnostic methods that invade the body chemically or surgically;
* generally learn diagnosis out of textbooks without ever seeing cases of the diseases they purport to identify;
* frequently learn diagnosis from other chiropractors who also learned from textbooks and have never seen cases of the disease;
* often couldn't pass national board exams in diagnosis without a crash course before the exam.
Some say that to practice without diagnosis would be dangerous. I suggest that nothing is more dangerous than incompetent diagnosis. Every year tens of thousands of sick people visit chiropractors of the second paradigm. People seeing chiropractors complain of a variety of problems, which could be the manifestation of vertebral subluxation, or could just as easily be symptomatic of something else, possibly a life-threatening disease. Instead of practicing chiropractic, the paradigm two chiropractor does a medical diagnostic exam, followed by a medical report of findings in which the DC claims to have identified the cause of the problem.
And with such blithe and dangerous comments as, "We do not treat the symptom, we correct the cause," the DC proceeds to offer treatment, which delays medical care for what may be a life-threatening medical emergency.
Was the backache really caused by vertebral subluxation, or is it perhaps a manifestation of prostate cancer, kidney stones, or referred angina from an impending heart attack? Is that headache caused by subluxation or is there an aneurysm at the Circle of Willis, or a brain tumor causing the symptom? How good is the chiropractor's diagnosis?
Another point to consider is that while thousands of people go to chiropractors every day, millions more stay subluxated because they have no symptoms. For over a 100 years we have exposed people to the limited understanding of chiropractic that results from paradigm two. The treatment of some diseases by adjustment and the referral of others based upon our diagnostic knowledge is not chiropractic at all, it is the practice of manipulative medicine, and it is even more dangerous than paradigm one.
Paradigm one is obviously stupid, so stupid that nobody really believes it. Nobody believes that all disease is caused by vertebral subluxation, so nobody gets hurt by it except the chiropractor who tries to make a living at it. Paradigm two, however, sounds logical. It is saleable and, subsequently, dangerous. If paradigm one is stupid, and paradigm two is dangerous, let us consider a third paradigm.
This paradigm make sense to me. It is a paradigm that thousands of chiropractors practice on their families, yet neglect to offer the public. Paradigm three is nether based upon the claim to cure all disease, nor an attempt to prejudge which diseases might be cured if vertebral subluxations are corrected. In fact, it has no disease treatment at all. It is totally non-therapeutic in its intent and practice.
Chiropractic holds that a vertebral subluxation, by its very existence, inhibits the body's ability to fully express its inherent potential. Every vertebral subluxation, by definition, includes some alteration of nerve function from perfection to something else. Vertebral subluxation is, at the very least, a change in the body's structure, and every scientist knows that a change in structure must inevitably result in a change in function. Therefore, all vertebral subluxations must result in altered function. In short, people with vertebral subluxations would be better off without them.
It does not matter if a subluxated person has a disease or if any disease would be best treated by manipulative medicine or some other treatment. The presence or absence of disease is irrelevant. Every human being, sick or well, newborn or aged, regardless of nutrition, exercise, occupation, sex, race, religion, and all other factors of life, is better off without vertebral subluxation. Why then do some chiropractors and organizations want to limit chiropractic correction of subluxations to certain categories? Is the person with AIDS or terminal cancer better off left subluxated? Should an infant with a vertebral subluxation but no determinable disease symptoms be left subluxated until symptoms occur? Symptoms are the last stages of malfunction, not the first.
By the time symptoms have occurred, years of opportunity for repair may have been lost. Why not correct vertebral subluxations when they occur, rather than wait for years of damage to produce symptoms?
To restrict chiropractic to sick people is as stupid as restricting vitamin C to people who have a cold. Furthermore, to treat disease by manipulation is necessarily to delay alternative treatment and thus, possibly endanger life.
The third paradigm of chiropractic practice is the only one that makes sense. It makes so much sense that thousands of chiropractors use it for themselves and their own families, yet because medical insurance does not pay for it, they do not teach its value to the public at large.
We live in a country that spends billions of dollars a year on the treatment of sickness and disease, but precious little on health. Our chiropractic profession is supposed to lead the world into a new and more intelligent way of thinking, not follow the mistakes of the past.
Paradigm three is not about health and sickness. It is about the recognition that vertebral subluxation causes more than just lost health potential and loss of every human potential. The nervous system is the coordinating system whereby the countless billions of body cells interact in harmony to express mind, body, spirit, emotion, artistic talent, speed, stamina, coordination, and family relations. Vertebral subluxation is a cause of disharmony to this beautiful thing we call life.
Paradigms one and two are about backaches; paradigm three is about life. We can choose to conform to the errors of the past, or we can step proudly to the forefront and lead the way into the future.

Can Man Reverse Law? - Part 2

The "Specific Chiropractor" acknowledges One dis-ease; One cause; One source; One adjustment necessary at One place, with designed desire to correct. Finding that One Place; giving One adjustment; restoring flow of One force; from One source; thru One channel predestined; whatever existed abnormally and unnaturally, will sooner or later, be restored to normal functional speed of action and Health, the ultimate and unequivocal requisite.

Are you satisfied with your present percentage of getting sick well? Would you like to step up your percentage of successes and step down your percentage of failures...and don't know how? Do you want to see "Specific Chiropractic" kept a separate and distinct profession? Would you like to see "Specific Chiropractic" a universal service in Every home, in all states in all countries? Do you think the world of people would be better if such were true? Do you believe that the sick of tomorrow have a right to get well with "Specific Chiropractic," same as people of yesterday?

What a glorious day That would be for the human race.

Suppose We tell Them!

  • Chiropractic is a philosophy

  • of the source and development of internal human function

  • from Above-Down, Inside-Out

  • the science of determining the location of

  • the interference to the flow of "Mental Impulses" between Source in the brain stem and function in body.

  • through the nerve system

  • and the art of adjusting by hand only, Vertebral Subluxations

  • which produce pressures upon spinal cord or spinal nerve tracts

  • to allow for restoration & creation of a "Mental Impulse" flow

  • so that "Innate Intelligence"

  • residing within each living body

  • has a free full flow

  • in the re-establishment and Restoration Of Health.

When a principle that is right is used right, the one so using it will succeed.

When a principle that is right is wrongly used, the one so using it will fail.

To condemn a principle because wrong application produced failure is to condemn creation itself.

Can Man Reverse Law? - Part 1

In our Chiropractic Philosophy, we have not devised, conceived, built, or manufactured another "road." We have observed, seen, and studied The road Which Has Always Been. Is Now, In Every Living Creature - Built By The Law For It To Travel Over And With.

We looked at and saw the "road" that was and is. We have merely interpreted That law "road." We have Understood there Was Such, made it possible to correct interference between the law, per se, and its lack of expression In the body in which it lives, making it possible for man To Travel Safely And Healthily on that "road."

Life, philosophically speaking is the harmonious connection between brain and physical body. Physiologically speaking, it is the normal expansion of tissue cells. Dis-ease, philosophically speaking, it is the partial interference of impulse between brain and physical body by pressure upon nerve tissue. Physiologically speaking, it is the excess or lack of normal expansion of tissue cells. Death, philosophically speaking is the complete cessation of impulses due to the complete disconnection between the brain and body. Physiologically speaking it is that state where no more germinal cells exist to allow normal expansion.

How Old Are Simple Principles?

There is so little man knows about the abstract of man, and so much that is known about the concretes of man, that one becomes fearful of the other and thus builds sciences which prove little and take man away from that which he needs to know about.

Man is born to live and die. He comes with an INNATE Intelligence and without and education. One he has at birth, other he accumulates. The accumulation never equals its SOURCE. The source is millions of years old, has gone through millions of adaptations, and knows right from wrong, good from bad, successful from unsuccessful. It's invincible, It's invulnerable, It's not subject to wounds or injury. That which we humans accumulate as an education is from birth to death, a short span of years, and then it goes back to the great vat of the cosmos from which it came. Peculiarily, the little THINKS it is the much. The much Knows it is little. The lesser assumes arrogant attitude of being greater than the greater. Greater assumes humble knowledge that it IS the greater, continuing to produce and reproduce, and lets it rest at that.

The Universal Intelligence takes many attributes in the human educated mind. Usually, in our modern day, IT is a He and a Him of tremendous size, equivalent to and something like ourselves. Others see IT only as the abstract, without shape, form or size. Whatever this IT has been or is, IT has existed before the beginning of time. IT has directed all worlds, all forms, all created things, including mankind.

Living is a continuous Law-Possessing internal process from moment of conception to moment of death. Every second, hour, day or year we are in constant and consistent law guiding motion - not one part individually but all parts co-ordinately.

That manifestation of Universal Intelligence in the Universe as well as its Innate Intelligence manifestation in All living products, which exemplifies Its existence following a definite abstract concept and concrete pattern, true to its own ideas and ideas to perpetuate and establish a balance between all its created species and families of species in mortal from.

Why title It? Man with his limited horizon suggests It possesses knowledge, understanding, ideas, ideals, discrimination between life and death, normal and abnormal, right and wrong, good and bad, constructive and destructive values of materials, adapts itself to conditions to preserve its integrity in all living products it creates and sustains. That It Is "universal" is an all-inclusive term of time, abilities, materials, beyond human scope. It is that intangible Source from which spring all things superior to mortal man, In man, To which all men aspire, revere and seek to comprehend its unlimited possibilities and responsibilities.

Any attempt to put into language Any interpretation of that over-all guiding Intelligence finds ourselves wordbound. It comes, It is, It does, without language, what It alone sees fit to do.

To Unbalance this Balance is to produce Dis-unity creating Dis-ease.

Universal Law Takes Chaos Out Of Cosmos

The inception, conception, beginning, existence of all things IS a Universal Intelligence governing, directing and pursuing its necessities of worlds as we think we see and understand them.

The inception, conception, beginning, existence of all things in any and all composite organized forms of matter is the expression of Innate Intelligence in them to produce, reproduce, and develop them.

It is Intelligent Power without which the world could not have been Man has always looked up to IT as a source of good, right, constructive, helpful, healthful, uplifting, bettering source of all we wished to be and become. With IT all is Cosmos. Without IT all would be Chaos.

What is IT that created worlds and holds them in their orbits? What is IT that creates seasons and balances them from year to year throughout time? What is IT that balances oxygen and hydrogen? What is IT that establishes an equality between wets and dries, creating a necessity for each? What is IT that fixes species and families in vegetables, animals, reptiles, simians, bipeds, and quadrupeds, including man, and fixes their span of life? What is IT that created billions of children, male and female, and builds them adaptable to and confines each to production and reproduction of their kind? What is IT that creates patterns for all functional expressions and holds them in line through millions of years? What is IT that fixes certain immutable regulations by which all things are equitably governed? What is IT that wraps up in an eight-pound package a boy or girl, in 280 days?

Innate and Educated Intelligence

We have within us two intelligences - Innate and Educated. Innate Intelligence is a gift. Educated Intelligence is sometimes developed. Innate Intelligence is greater than Educated Intelligence.

Innate Intelligence is always a present normal known quantity, within itself. In abstract, it is always present, always normal, ready and capable of doing all, everywhere, for the needs of any composite form in which it resides. The known quantity of Innate Intelligence is "unknown" to Educated Intelligence, no matter how Educated it thinks it is.

Life is a collection of viewpoints. We gather them here, there and everywhere. We assemble them during waking and sleeping hours.

Education is no different. It is a collection of mosaic thoughts. All conclusions of today are but rearranged bits gathered from many friends, from their many suggestions, writings, printed products, etc.

There is nothing new under the sun. We are but reworking that which others have given us, with that which we have taken out of it, comes that peculiar emasculation which we claim.

An Idea Ahead of its Time

Persistant Determination is necessary in educating the public as to the importance of living life free from subluxation.

Unknowingly the public is moving towards the vitalistic principles and practices chiropractic philosophy has professed since its beginnings. In many of the alternative forms of health care people use today, vitalism can be found. In order for one to move towards more vitalistic activities and ideas, one has to have some basic grasp or inkling of the presence of a universal intelligence. Chiropractic philosophy is vitalistic and founded on the premise there is a universal intelligence giving organization to everything. The chiropractic profession must with persistence and determination continue to educate the public as to the essence of chiropractic philosophy. This can only be achieved with an understanding of universal intelligence, innate intelligence and educated intelligence then intelligently applying it to their life. Armed with this information the public will know that in order to obtain the greatest benefit from all the healthy activities they involve themselves in they must stay as subluxation free as possible. It is only then life can express itself completely with function and performance at levels only dreamed of. When this state of consciousness permeates humanity we as a profession will have evolved into the profession we know it to be. The future looks bright for principled philosophical chiropractic. Chiropractic philosophy truly is an idea ahead of its time.

Chiropractic Adjustments Can Help the Body Heal Itself

According to a study published in the Journal of Vertebral Subluxation Research, chiropractic care may influence basic physiological processes affecting oxidative stress and DNA repair—in other words, how the body heals itself. The study titled “Surrogate Indication of DNA Repair in Serum After Long Term Chiropractic Intervention—A Retrospective Study” conducted at the University of Lund (Sweden), compared 21 subjects who underwent short-term chiropractic care to 25 subjects who underwent long-term chiropractic care, and a control group of 30 subjects who did not undergo any chiropractic care. The researchers measured serum thiols levels, which are primary antioxidants and provide a surrogate estimate of DNA repair enzyme activity, or how the body heals itself. The results showed a significant difference in the serum thiol levels of the three groups. The levels were lowest in patients with active diseases and in the short-term chiropractic care group. The levels were highest in the long-term care group. Symptom-free or primary wellness subjects under chiropractic care demonstrated higher mean serum thiol levels than normal wellness values.“Going through life, we experience physical, chemical, and emotional stress," says Christopher Kent, DC, one of the authors of the study. "These stresses affect the function of the nervous system. We hypothesized that these disturbances in nerve function could affect oxidative stress and DNA repair on a cellular level. Oxidative stress results in DNA damage and inhibits DNA repair.”"I remind my patients that chiropractors apply spinal adjustments to correct disturbances of nerve function and that chiropractic care appears to improve the ability of the body to adapt to stress and therefore heal itself faster and to a greater degree," he continues. So what does Kent tell his patients when they ask him how to stay healthy?"Get adjusted," he says.

Explaining to the Public What Chiropractors Do

The brain and nerve system control and coordinate all bodily functions allowing the individual to adapt to an ever changing environment. In order to accomplish this there must be open communication between the brain and all the parts of the body. This brain/body connection must function with no interference in order for your body to perform and function optimally.

When there is interference with the relationship between the brain and parts of the body brain/body communication becomes less than perfect and performance and function suffer. The most common cause of interference to the nerve system is vertebral subluxation.

Chiropractors correct vertebral subluxation. Correction of subluxation removes interference to the nerve system. This restores the relationship between the brain and all the parts of the body. Communication is reestablished improving performance on all levels of human function.

It's as Simple as That!

The Major Premise

"Universal Intelligence is in all matter and continually gives to it all its properties and actions, thus maintaining it in existence."

"The master maker of the human body did not create you and then run off and leave you master less. He stayed on the job as INNATE, as the Fellow Within, as nerve transmission controlling every function of life, as Spirit from Above-Down, Inside-Out, expressing, creating, exploring, directing you in every field of phase of experience so that your home is truly the world and the world is your home."

The expression of Intelligence Through Matter is the Chiropractic Meaning of Life.

  1. Without intelligence, matter could not exist.

  2. Without matter, intelligence could not be expressed.

  3. The bond between intelligence and matter is force.

  4. The function of intelligence is to create force.

  5. The function of matter is to express force.

Life as "Specific Chiropractic" sees it, is a quality or character that matter may have, occasioned by the presence of, or attention of intelligence, having continuation or duration involving time.

Laws Of Balance

Universal Intelligence is unlimited, everywhere, in everything from the beginning of time, time without end, infinite in scope, boundless in applications, and experiences unapproachable by finite minds of men.

"Innate," as an abstract intelligence, is also unlimited. It becomes limited only by potentials of capacities contained within normal matter.

Life is a triune having three necessary united factors, namely Intelligence, Force, and Matter.

The function of Intelligence is to create force.

The function of force is to unite intelligence and matter.

The function of matter is to express force.

In order to have one hundred percent Life there must be one hundred percent Intelligence, one hundred percent force, one hundred percent matter.

'The master maker of the human body did not create you and then run off and leave you masterless. He stayed on the job as Innate, as the Fellow Within, as nerve transmission controlling every function of life, as Spirit from Above-Down, Inside-Out, expressing, creating exploring, directing you in every field of phase of experience so that your home is truly the world and the world is your home." - BJ Palmer

Are You A Chiropractic Philosopher?

A PHILOSOPHER raises the question, "WHY?" Why do we do this as we do? Questions lead to questioning, and he who insistingly questions sees error which is intentional or accidental - for perfection is not of this age.

PHILOSOPHY "Literally, the Love of Wisdom"

Philosophy is based on answers to why of things.

It is the explanation of "SPECIFIC" Chiropractic science.

It explains "the why" of everything we do.

It is the knowledge of "phenomena" as explained by or resolved into CAUSES and REASONS, POWERS and LAWS, with 3 in-depth studies:

  • A Study of the Material: bones, nerves, muscles, chemistry, etc...

  • A Study of the Art: Segmental listings, torque, adjusting, follow-thru

  • A Study of the Immaterial: Laws, Causes, Effects, Innate, Mental Impulse, Health

When Success is Slow, What Can You Do?

Pop Quiz: Can success be sped up? Is there an antidote to slow outcomes despite arduous planning and actions taken? What's the secret for seeing huge results right now?!
I get versions of these questions frequently from people who feel frustrated at sluggish progress in their success journey - despite all the know-how and principles they rigorously employ.
Let's get one thing straight...
When we admire someone's success, or even our own, we often focus on the end result and not so much on the effort (and time) that it took to get there. This can cultivate unrealistic expectations, especially the idea that overnight success can happen through careful strategy and an execution of sound advice.
The truth be told, success typically follows a series of little events and achievements that can seem to take an eternity, that include a few disappointments along the way, and that challenge everything about you to the core - your stamina, courage, integrity, and even your willingness to keep going.
If you focus on what's not working, guess what: You're likely coming from a place of aggravation as your mind wraps around all that is wrong.
You may even have negative thoughts like "I'm not good enough," "It will never work," or "Something must be wrong with me."
What this mentally does is engender more of these counter-productive feelings. And given what we know about the Law of Attraction, you attract what you are feeling. So negative experiences, people, and results will beget more negative experience, people, and results. There's not much success in that.
The key, then, is to focus on what IS working. To do so, I recommend two simple practices: journaling and meditation.
Maintaining a journal (I call it an Evidence Log, Results Journal, or Gratitude Journal) is a great way to steer your attention to the positive and continually renew your vision for yourself.
Start each day with reflections on what you are grateful for in your life (list them out!) and end each day with notes on what went right (again, write them down), however small they may seem.
Spend time each day in quiet contemplation, prayer or meditation.
Meditation can be powerful tool for arriving at solutions to problems and shifting your attitude so you can attract success sooner rather than later. The magic of meditation is its ability to essentially shut down the outer layer of your judgmental, highly-critical brain and allow your unconscious mind to take over. This is where you enter a deeper state of inner peace and joy, tapping into a higher level of creativity that will help usher in the results you want. (Don't know how to meditate? Lots of books and materials are available to guide you this practice. It's easier than you think. )
Let's say you're doing ALL these things, but you still aren't happy with your results...
I'll ask you then, are you taking real ACTION?
You may be taking the actions you are used to taking. But if you keep doing what you've already done, then you'll keep getting what you've always gotten. It's a matter of practicing some new behaviors. Shake things up a bit and see if you can take new actions or modify existing ones.
Remember the Rule of 5.
Every day do five specific things that take you toward your goal. Change up the five actions regularly and be open to feedback so you know when you're off course.
Lastly, I want to remind you about patience.
It's natural to underestimate how long a certain goal can take, especially a profound one. When I set a goal to become a millionaire the year was 1983. How long did it take? Eleven years. It took time for Chicken Soup for the Soul to hit the bestseller lists. You could say our tenure on the New York Times list was more than a decade in the making. That's a lot of patience for someone who initially wanted overnight success.
So, yes, patience is a virtue. But keep at it, and in no time, you'll be only one week, or one day away from your ultimate success.
Remember... be grateful, reflect on what IS working and continue to take ACTION!

"That Something"

“There is ‘That Something’
in every man’s soul, which can move the mountains or dry the seas.” “Then
you must be Faith!” “Yes,” came the answer, “I am Faith, but I am more—I
am that which makes men face the fires of hell, and win.” “Then you must be
Confidence, as well.” “Yes, I am more than Confidence—I am that which
makes the babbling brooks lift worlds upon their wavelets.” “You are Power,”
I cried. “Yes, I am more than Power,” answered the voice. “I am that which
makes the wretched failure lift up himself and rule the world.” “You are
Ambition—I know you now.” “Yes, I am all you say—Faith, Confidence,
Power, Ambition, and more. For greater than all is ‘That Something.’ I am
that which every man must find in his soul or else he will be but a clutterer of
the earth on which he lives.”

It is the power of the inner man, the fuel of the soul machine.

‘That Something’ lies dormant in every soul until aroused.

A man’s success depends alone on ‘That Something.’ ‘That Something’ of his soul.

If men will read that story, read and reread, until it is written on their memories; if men will believe the message you bring, and then if they will but awaken that something within their souls that now lies asleep—I say if you can make men do this, you will have done
more for mankind than any man or any thousand men have done in many,
many years. Write it, man, write it word for word as you have told it here, so
every man may read. Write it, man, write it!”
And so it has been written. You who have heard it through, I pray that you may hear it every word again and again until ‘That Something’ of your souls has been aroused, and
you have taken your places among the rulers of the world.

THE END
WHICH IS
THE BEGINNING.

"BJ said, "Even as a boy, in the very youth of my life and Chiropractic, I made a vow:

"That I would live to so develop Chiropractic that it would find and locate and be able to correct a specific cause for every dis-ease in the human body; and to so develop this philosophy and art that it would be made scientific, where it would be recognized as scientific by scientific men, and so proved by use of scientific instruments."

It is something the world has been seeking for 5,000 years. It is now yours. It is your property to respect, to protect, to defend. We are passing this challenge to you now, Today, to save what we have labored so long, so diligently to preserve for the SAKE OF MANKIND. We have laid the impregnable foundation for our super-structure; we now face the greatest challenge of all, SURVIVAL. This you can and will meet, of this we have no doubt. - BJ Palmer, D.C., Ph.C.

Is Your Practice Waiting For A Leader To Show Up?

Leadership can be summed up by the following few sayings:

  • Your actions speak so loudly that I can't hear what you are saying. - Be Congruent.

  • Example is not the main thing in leading others, it is the only thing.

  • As a leader the first person you need to lead is you.

  • The first person that you should try to change is you.

  • To remain a credible leader, you must always work first, hardest, and longest on changing yourself.

This is neither easy nor natural, but is essential.

A survey conducted by Opinion Research Corporation for Ajilon Finance asked U.S. workers to select the one trait that was most important in a leader. The trait with the most votes was: Leading by example.

What are you going to start doing differently to become the leader you are capable of?

Act To Create It

If you want to live a dream life, not only must you decide what you want, turn your dream into measurable goals, break those goals down into specific action steps, and visualize and affirm your desired outcomes -- you must start taking action!
I recommend making the commitment to do something every day in at least three different areas of your life that moves you in the direction of your goal.
If one of your goals is physical fitness, make a commitment to do some sort of exercise -- aerobics, weight training, stretching -- four to five times a week for a minimum of twenty minutes.
I read recently that if you simply go for a 30 minute walk four times a week, that would put you in the top 1% of those people getting physical exercise!
If your goal is financial independence, start saving and investing a portion of your income every month with no exceptions.
If your goal is to write a book, write for a minimum of one hour every day.
DON'T LET FEAR STOP YOU Most people never get what they want because they let their fears stop them. They are afraid of making a mistake, looking foolish, getting ripped off, being rejected, being hurt, wasting their time, and feeling uncomfortable.
Fear is self-created by imagining catastrophic consequences that have yet to happen. It is all in your mind. In fact, you can actually scare yourself by imagining negative and harmful images. But simply stop the catastrophic thoughts and images, and the fear goes away.
REJECTION IS A MYTH One of the biggest fears that stops people from asking for support, guidance, advice, money, a date, a job, the sale, or anything else is the fear of rejection.
In fact, it's been known to literally paralyze people. They become tongue-tied and refuse to reach for the phone or get up and walk across the room. They break out in a sweat at the mere thought of asking for what they want.
I have come to realize that the whole concept of rejection is false -- that rejection doesn't really exist. Think about it for a moment. If you asked someone to join you for dinner, and they said no, you could tell yourself that you had been rejected. But think about it. Did you have anyone to eat dinner with before you asked them? No! Did you have anyone to eat dinner with after you asked them? No! Did your life really get worse? No. It stayed the same!
ACT AS IFOne of the secrets of success is to start acting like a success before you are one. Act as if. If you had already achieved your dream, what kinds of clothes would you be wearing? How would you act? How would you treat others? Would you tithe a portion of your income to your church or favorite charities? Would you have more self-confidence? Would you take more time to spend with your loved ones?
I suggest that you begin to do those things now!
When I decided that I wanted to be an "international" consultant, I immediately went and applied for a passport, bought an international clock that told me what time it was anywhere in the world, printed business cards with the words "International Self-Esteem and Peak Performance Consultant," and decided I would like to first go to Australia. I bought a poster of the Sydney Opera House and placed it on my refrigerator.
Within one month, I received an invitation to speak in Sydney and Brisbane. Since then, I have spoken and conducted trainings in over 30 countries and continue to expand my business around the globe.
Start acting as if you already have everything you want.
Most people think that if they have a lot of money, they could do the things they want to do, and they would be much happier. In fact, the reverse is true.
If you start by creating a state of happiness and abundance, then do the things you are inspired to do from that state of being, you will end up having all the things you ultimately desire.
BE, DO AND HAVE EVERYTHING YOU WANT... STARTING NOW!
Remember, the proper order of this is to start now and be who you want to BE, then DO the actions that go along with being that person, and soon you will find that you can easily HAVE everything you want in life--health, wealth and fulfilling relationships.

The Adjustment With That Extra Something

Adjusting a vertebrae ("the adjustment with that extra something") is what happens AFTER my hands have left the back; it is that REACTION that occurs when INNATE recoils in the body of patient, which resets vertebrae into normal position. My work is an enticement to get INNATE TO MAKE THE ADJUSTMENT ("the adjustment with that extra something"). - BJP, Vol XVIII, p 426

What Type OF "adjustment" Do You Deliver?

Five Types of "adjustments":

  1. Kiss "adjustment"

  2. Treatment "adjustment"

  3. Shove and Push "adjustment"

  4. Adjustment "adjustment"

  5. The Adjustment with that "Extra Sometning"

Four Elements Of A Vertebral Subluxation

  1. Misalignment with co-respondents above and below

  2. Occlusion of foramen through which nerves pass

  3. Pressure upon nerves

  4. Interference to transmission of mental impulse supply

BJ Palmer added a fifth element to the subluxation in 1933

5. 3 directional torque misalignment

A subluxation causes dis-ease and dis-ease left unchecked for a significant period of time leads to specific disease processes. In order for the subluxation to manifest into a sick condition, time is necessary.

Do You Deliver Adjustments With Staying Put Value?

"The ADJUSTMENT WITH THAT EXTRA SOMETHING" is the SUBLUXATION that is ADJUSTED which remains in proper position. "THE ADJUSTMENT WITH THAT EXTRA SOMETHING" has 'STAYING PUT VALUE." This is how sick people GET WELL!!!

The majority of Chiropractors work with the concept that THEY are the all important feature of "adjusting subluxations"; that it is what THEY do that replaces a SUBLUXATION; and with this thot, they proceed to PUSH vertebrae into the position THEY think they need be pushed into. "Adjusting," in their minds, means PUSHING BONES INTO ADJUSTED POSITIONS.

Putting Fear in Its Place

As you move forward on your journey from where you are to where you want to be, you are going to have to confront some of your fears. Fear is a just a natural part of living.
Whenever you start a new project, take on a new venture, or put yourself out there, there's usually some fear involved. Unfortunately, most people let fear stop them from taking the necessary steps to achieve their dreams.
Confronting your fears is a very necessary step in achieving success.
There is simply no other way.
Fear can be a helpful emotion, as it tells you when you need to be extra careful, keenly aware, and cautious. Fear is not an emotion that is telling you to stop. In fact, it's telling you just the opposite!
Acknowledging your feelings of fear helps you know when you are stepping out of your comfort zone. It points your awareness to areas where you could improve and grow.
Successful people also feel fear. Yet they don't let it get in the way of anything they want to do--or have to do. They understand that fear is something to be acknowledged, experienced, and taken along for the ride. They have learned, as author Susan Jeffers suggests in her must-read book, to "Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway®."
Fear is more of a signal that we should stay alert and cautious. We can feel fear, but we can still move forward anyway.
Think of fear as a 2-year-old child who doesn't want to go grocery shopping with you. Because you must buy groceries, you'll just have to take the two year old with you. Fear is no different. In other words, acknowledge that fear exists but don't let it keep you from doing important tasks.
Also realize that so many of our fears are self-created. We might frighten ourselves by fantasizing negative outcomes to any activity we might peruse or experience. Luckily, because we are the ones doing the fantasizing, we are also the ones who can stop the fear and bring ourselves into a state of clarity and peace by facing the actual facts, rather than giving in to our imaginations.
If a fear is too great for you to overcome, try breaking it down into smaller challenges.
Try starting out by doing the parts of the project that don't scare you so much. You need to give a speech in front of a large group? Try giving your speech in front of a small group of people who care for you. Work your way up until you are able to feel the fear but still move forward. As you do you will build your confidence and eventually you won't feel fear surrounding those issues because you'll have done them enough to count it as a skill.
As you move toward your goal, don't attach yourself so much to the outcomes.
Keep moving toward your dream doing everything you can to create what you want, then let it go and see what shows up. Sometimes the universe will have a better idea in mind for you and present a better opportunity when you were expecting something completely different. Don't let fear keep you from moving forward. Even if the horrible outcome that you imagined happens, the universe will always provide for you another way to succeed. So be on the look out!
Trust that no matter what occurs, you are smart enough and strong enough to keep looking for, and attracting, opportunities.
If you are willing to try new experiences in spite of your fears, then more new experiences will present themselves for you to try. And the more you try, the more you are likely to succeed!
